Emily Ferguson (b. 1998, San Rafael, USA) is a Los Angeles-based painter whose work explores the fluid boundaries between personal identity and artistic expression. A self-taught artist, she left formal education in 2019 to refine her distinctive approach, blending ethereal figuration with evocative materiality. Her portraits, deeply introspective, challenge conventions of contemporary femininity and resist categorization. Ferguson has exhibited in prestigious venues such as Nicodim Annex, Half Gallery, and Phillips in Los Angeles, as well as Prince & Wooster in New York and Sow and Tailor in Hong Kong.
